mind boggles and reels around that one

if you've not read the book, i'd suggest seeing the film first. most people who've done it that way loved the film, whereas old fans like me get agro about changes made

They generally change the story with the movie. I have no idea why. Maybe their budget ?

i understand that some of the changes were made by douglas adams. usualy its to try to tie things together

AFAIK, each hitchhiker guide version (radio, book UK, book US, TV and now films) has some changes.

Alexa, if you choose to read the book, try to find also the French translation made by Jean Bonnefoy, it certainly worth the read too.

To judge the movie, I'll have to wait till August (or BitTorrent ?) :redface:

I have to admit I was sooo dissopointed with the Hitch hikers film, It was such a let down after months of anticipation of its arrival in the cinema. First didnt like the cast much and the specil effects were less than admirable... The only good thing about it was marvin! Loved his big globe like head!

Not a film I will be buying or seeing again.
I dont reccomend it either im afraid.
