i wish i could. i've run out of space for bookshelves! i'm not supposed to buy any more, but have just discovered a little shop that is jammed full of cheap secondhand sc-fi fantasy books. many of which i need. sigh

I'm not supposed to buy more either, but I don't no how, whenever I see an interesting book, I got an itch in my right hand. So you see, I have no choice. :biggrin:

exactly! i try, i don't go to places where books usualy are, or good books. but with libraries selling off old books cheap, and treasure troves like this one being discovere, whats a girl to do?

Btw, do you have something like garage sell in UK? I mean a period when everybody can expose what they do not need anymore, in from of their house and sell them for a symbolic price ?

we have car boot sales, and i'm not allowed to visit them. unfortunatly i went to the library yesterday, and found some great books in the discards pile...

What's a car boot sale ?

We have garage sells during summer, a.i. people who want to get rid of things they don't need or like anymore, put them in front of their house all day long for a symbolic price. I like to search books. The most expensive may be $5.

everyone with things to sell parks in a big field and sells things from their car boots they are very dangerous as places to pick up lots of fascinating but useless junk
