So Many Books, So Little Time, by Sara Nelson. Silly little book by a woman who decided to document her reading for a year. It's a little pretentious in places - she thinks its hard to like someone who doesn't like the same kinds of books she does - but there's some good stuff in there, as well.

Just finished another Kellerman, Day of Atonement, the fourth in the series, and I'm about to start the fifth one, False Prophet. Had to buy this one, as it is the only one of the series my library system doesn't have. I'm really enjoying reading these in order.

Finally reading With No One As Witness, the latest Elizabeth George. I had borrowed it from the library but then loaned it to mom when she was desperate for something to read and then turned it in without having read it as it was almost overdue (I'm obsessive about getting books back in time despite the fact that my library doesn't assess fines, I suppose it is because I know what torture it is to have to wait for someone to return something before I can read it :biggrin. Anyway, I then won a copy of it and since I was a little not into the Lois McMaster Bujold book I had gotten from the library, I picked it up last night and enjoyed the heck out of the first third of it.

I've got A Breath of Snow and Ashes on hold at the library, waiting for its release tomorrow. Hopefully they've ordered more than one or two copies as I'm fourth in line and antsy

I read that, Ivy. Not bad, but pretty formulaic I think. Doubt I'd read it again.

i do, and am more annoyed because it was recomended to me so highly.
while i'm looking for something else, i'm going to keep on with my family and other animals. i'm reading it slowly and really enjoying the languid pace and irreverent humor

I'm reading A Breath of Snow and Ashes by Diana Gabaldon and am enjoying it immensely. I laughed out loud several times last night (was reading during commercials of Lost) and got a few odd looks! I've been dying to crack it open all morning but alas, at work I can goof off on the computer as nobody can really tell but if I took a book out and started reading, I might get a few complaints! Hopefully I'll get a chance to read during lunch.

This book is really getting on my nerves. I'm not too busy today so it keeps calling to me.."read me"...but I can't since I'm at work. I wouldn't notice it if I were busy, but my bosses are busy at a wine tasting so there's nothing for me to do.
