Where would you choose to live?
Scotland is high on the list - those dramatic mountains on the West coast overlooking the islands...
Anywhere with mountains, trees, maybe lakes. Hull is a bit flat, you see.

Re: Where would you choose to live?
When my husband and i first decided to emigrate I told him that Birmingham was just a quick stop off point. Till I got here. I love it. When I have a car I might be pursuaded to move to the countryside (Worestershire or Staffs) but I'd always stay close to home.

Re: Where would you choose to live?
You are probably the first person I've heard to sing the praises of Birmingham.
Home of "Brum" - another fun children's TV character.

Re: Where would you choose to live?
Well, in this moment I'll choose a warm place and without snow. Maybe I'll move in California one day.
The rest of the year, I adore to place where I live right now. Especially in spring when everything turns green.

New Zealand without a doubt, considering spending a year out there sometime soon to see how we get on and then maybe make it a perminent arrangement.

Brian I applaud you for saying Scottland. When I was younger I had a dream of owning a castle in the mountains there. Yet, I have grown some, tastes have changed, and I would prefer on the beach, anywhere, as long as it was clean, and the name was well known. Yea....

Everything but a well known beach, that's the best bet not to have any room to lay down there in peace.

Re: Where would you choose to live?
Far from hastle and bustle of the big cities. A bungalo surrounded by quiet pine-forest with a parlour facing the lake with cold transparent water clutched between snow-capped mountains. A footbridge or a wooden pier running from the shore, and deep water is rich with trout and pikes, and carps...
Sounds like New Zealand? But actually, this place may be everywhere - that is just a picture from my dayderam. It's of course, not a house to live permanently - it's rather a secret place where I can sometimes flee from the problems.
