Re: Welcome to Freecafe!
I don't follow all the specific references but I do understand the concept of not being apreceated. The corporation that I am leaving is that way. That was a significant factor in my moving south. The new company apreceates what I know and do to the tune of a significant raise and a chance to concentrate on what's really important.

So we are moving into the same direction (even for different companies and countries) and leave behind the bastards.

Re: Welcome to Freecafe!
Hi Alexa hon. I have had many jobs where the boss decided he or she didn't like me. Once that was established and any attempts at negotiations failed. I found that the the longer I hung on to such a position where the boss either didn't like me for whatever reason, it did not get any better. My motto has always been, why stay where your not appreciated or liked.
They will do all they can to make your life miserable to the point you will walk out and this might very well be what they had intended to do to start with. You will just have saved them the trouble of all the paperwork and legalities or any other legit enough reason to fire you. I am not all that certain I understand everything you told me about your present job. Like are they giving you a notice of termination, or are they recommending you move to a different department within the same company?
You could do one of three things.
#1 Confront her face to face and ask her what her problem is and try to work it out.
#2 give them the amount of time you believe you require then start looking for another job like in those other departments.
#3 See a lawyer about the possibility of at least getting some type of compensation from them.

Re: Welcome to Freecafe!
Thanks MJ but I have another job already. That's why she is so mad of me right now. You know that we are supposed to offer two weks of pre-avis before leaving and the problem is I'm not in the mood to offer her more than a week. I was supposed to start my new job on September 1st, but my new supervisor gave me another week to have a short vacation first. On one side I have a boss who doesnt't want to let me take my vacation and on another side, I have the new one who genereausly gave my vacation.

Re: Welcome to Freecafe!
Hi Alexa, that is great, I am relieved that everything worked out for the best for you, even a small bonus of resting and relaxing for a week before going back to work for your new boss. I will send a prayer that all will keep going well for you. I don't blame you either for giving your former employer just one weeks notice.

Re: Welcome to Freecafe!
I finally gave her 3 weeks. It was supposed to be only two yesterday, but she changed her mind and requested another one week today. I couldn't say no, as my new supervisor didn't objet too much. She requested again overtime, but for this one, I won't do any concession. I won't bother to work like a dog for somebody who doesn't deserve it.

Re: Welcome to Freecafe!
I'd give your current human boss my opinion, but what a waste of :kitty: "droppings" (read: :kitty: "manure").
Spend extra time with your furred bosses. That's an order.
