Nope, simply that as smoking is dangerous to one person own's health and cost money to the Sécurité sociale (public health insurance for the non-French posters), the same person doesn't have the freedom to smoke where she/he wants to anymore.

Year, great. I agree.
On the other hand, in some circunstances .. I understand no-smocking people (for instance in restaurants, very unpleasant to eat with smoke odor).

But in bars. I'm shocked ! Bear is nothing without cigarett !

PI, the best incentive I can think of is this: your smoking effects your kids and :kitty:s.

BTW, I'm a nonsmoker (I have asthma) but my sister, brother-in-law, oldest niece and nephew are all smokers. My sister has both chronic bronchitis and asthma, brother-in-law has had terrible asthma since he was very young and my niece has had ear troubles since she was a baby as has her son. The second oldest nephew is hearing impaired due to all of the ear infections he's had and the twins are/were severely underweight, probably due to all the smoking going on.

I really don't find smoking fun. I don't want to be addicted and I want to live an extra 2 years.

Thats 2 more years I can enjoy life.

I don't smoke, never have. I know a lot of people who do though, and the no smoking in public places stuff that's getting implemented across the UK is driving them nuts. Hopefully it will make them quit, that would be good for them in the long run.

Another non-smoker, never have, never will. Thanks to some good lessons at school all those years ago, I know too much now to make me want to start.
