Okay, I've just caught up with this thread and I'm finding the general tone to be a little disrespectful.

While there's nothing wrong with criticising political institutions, it seems that the opinions have become more and more personal - whether intended to or not - which is most definitely aginst the spirit of this community.

At the end of the day, we're a group of people with a shared common interest in the vast sphere of science fiction and fantasty. The World Affairs board is provide so that we can share our thoughts and opinions on current affairs and political issues - but is should definitely not be used in a way that is incourteous to the feelings and sensibilities of other members.

By all means, I'm sure we can disagree - but please, let us be a little more civil when we do so, and consider the effects of our words on other members when we do so.
