Finally saw it. And wasn't really impressed.
Why ? How ? What can we do to prepare us when it'll happen ? No answer, not even clue were giving in this docu-fiction. Focusing on characters is a good way to enter in a documentary, but here fiction took too much important compared to the facts presented.

On a similar topic I much preferred the documentary on Pompei explosion shown last year.

I saw a fascinating documentary a few years ago on 'caldera' or super volcanos. i don't think that it was the same one. the one that i watched was incredible.

The one I saw was the docurama spoted by Master.

BTW, had the answer later, there are roungly 10 caldeiras on Earth (one in Mediterranee).

yep, the one in the med is the one supposedly to blame for the sinking of the cretian culture and the birth of the myths of atlantis.
there is also one in the states, called the yellowstone national park!

the one i saw said they only go off every 10-20 0000 years, so don't think its a major concern
