Default The Haiku Game

Because I love this so, and as I have ripped this from http://www.principiadiscrodia.com/forums/ as well as posting a new threa dbout it on http://www.khazaddum.com/forums/ I thought it work do well here too.

Think of a good haiku (5-7-5 or 3-5-3) and post it. Must be something to do with the topic suggested by last haiku'er.

Start thread on haiku?
How long can this carry on?
As long as you like.

Laid there feeling sad,
A drunk dreaming of living
The bottle opens...

There once was a man from Bombay...
Darn, no limericks, huh? I love to read haiku, haven't written one in years...give me a bit to come up with one.

Deluded by self,
Mind wandering the labyrinth.
Lost impossibles.

The one beholding
the shy nerd that others taunt
shivers, knows great depths.

Winged o'er cobalt seas.
The scream of the albatross.
The world is so small.

Cockatoos.

Chumley squawks, wings out,
alarmed, beneath sunset sky.
Vulture heads to roost.

We actually had a moluccan cockatoo once.

Across space and time,
All fades to blurred monotone.
Perceptions vanish.
