I can picture some books too hot to be put on shelves.

Re: What does your library look like???
My personal little libary is expansive!
I have been an avid book collector since I was nine and everytime I move house it takes longer to move my book collection than anything else! My libary is not orderd in any way what so ever and it isnt even on bookshelves either. My books are everywhere all over the house and I have two rather large cupboards full of books too! not to mention bowes in my spare room and under my bed.
My libary is mainly fantasy books and books on the various topics of the occult and paranormal.

Re: What does your library look like???
We used to own a couple of very large, floor to ceiling Bookshelves that we bought for a couple of dollars when the local library updated but we had to sell them and put everything in boxes a few years ago when my wife and myself went travelling. We will be moving into our new house in a few months and have devoted a large area for a combined computer and library corner. Can't wait to set it up.
The fiction's still predominately Science fiction and fantasy, though there's more and more general fiction. We've also got alot of english literature and history (mainly her's) and science/cosmology and social science texts (mainly mine.)

Re: What does your library look like???
This thread looks like it needs to be revived and that way I can see what size pictures this forum takes.

Re: What does your library look like???
I'm not sure if you can see them, but if they appear, this is a picture of my bookshelves in the living room/lounge/sitting room. We also have books in the downstairs loo, upstairs in a basket (overflowing with books), in drawers and there's also a bookcase in my son's room full to the brim with childrens books!
If you can't see them then I apologise profusely!
xx
